Print design and logo design for the 2013 Worcester International Festival for Young Singers organised by Sing UK. Variations of the brochure have been done to accommodate different audiences both local and international, and a series of adverts for local, national and international publications have been designed.

Elgar Birthplace Appeal print design

A set of print designs produced for the launch of the Elgar Birthplace Appeal
at the Philip Mould Gallery in London. The principle pieces comprised an A4 gate fold leaflet and donation form which fit into an A4 folder with pocket. A quad fold DL sized Small Appeal leaflet and Legacy leaflet were designed to compliment the launch literature, for ongoing, more general use after the launch event.

Cathedral Information Boards

The information boards in the Teaching Centre at Worcester Cathedral have finally been installed after what seems like an eternity. It was always meant to be a ‘back burner’ design project but what with one thing and another I think it went on for a bit longer than anyone anticipated when we set out. However, some things just aren’t meant to be rushed, and these designs have matured rather nicely over the few months that they’ve been brewing.

There are 11 boards in total, four main ones sized at A2 and seven at A3. They are in place to inform visitors to the cathedral tower about the work of the Cathedral Bellringers, information about the current as well as the old bells and a brief history of the tower and the clock. There are also reproductions of old photographs taken when sets of bells were raised in 1870 and 1928.

The boards are deliberately image heavy and text is kept to a minimum. They are branded with the bellringers’ logo and fit into the clean and simple branding that runs through all of the bellringers’ publications and print design.

Web design for Skips Crosswords following the launch of their new CrossMaths publication – the second in a series of SATs and 11 Plus educational aids. A custom magazine style frontpage with sliders and news feeds from content on the site.

bells documentary photography

The ongoing documentary of the New Bells for Old St Martin’s project in Worcester which involves the restoration of the old bells at Old St Martin’s Church and the installation of a new ring of ten bells. A time lapse video of the bell frame being constructed as a dry run is to be supplemented with a similar sequence of the bells being installed in the frame within the tower.

Elgar Museum website design

The culmination of a six month web design project to completely redesign the
Elgar Birthplace Museum & Visitor Centre website. The CMS based site has been built so that the museum staff can easily update content, both the individual pages and the module based functionality which surrounds each page.

A fully integrated e-commerce shop containing over 800 products as well as a searchable database containing details of the Museum’s Collection of letters, photographs and manuscripts are key elements of the site.
